TECH NOTE: Installation of this bypass kit is most effective when installed BEFORE you experience the locking issue. Once the locking has occurred, this kit may not always completely resolve the issue. If your C5's battery voltage is too low, this issue may occur. Make sure your voltage is normal and charge or replace your battery if needed.
TECH NOTE: Sometimes, it is possible to shock the lock motor actuator assembly by shutting the car off, removing the key, and jerking the steering wheel against the stops. Re-insert the key and try again after these steps and check if this has resolved the issue.
