Our Involvement

Each third weekend in September, we bring Corvette Funfest to life and attract thousands of enthusiasts for a weekend filled with camaraderie, vendor displays, curated activities, seminars, and live entertainment, all designed to enhance the Corvette ownership experience.

Who We Are

For over 50 years, Mid America Motorworks has been your trusted source for Corvette parts and accessories. As a family-owned business, we offer over thousands of parts for all Corvette generations, from the 1953 classic to the latest generation, along with lifestyle and apparel items to help enthusiasts show off the Corvette lifestyle.

Our MY Garage Corvette Museum and Retail Store showcases an extensive collection of automotive memorabilia, including classic and rare Corvettes, providing an unforgettable experience. While you're here, you can also browse and shop for Corvette parts, accessories, and lifestyle merchandise.

Visit us on US Route 45, just one mile from Exit 162 on I-57/70, three miles north of Effingham, Illinois.

Why We Started

Our story began in 1974 when Mike Yager saw an opportunity to provide Corvette enthusiasts with the accessories they needed to fuel their passion for the hobby. Recognizing a gap in the market for Corvette parts, he took a $500 loan and hit the road, attending Corvette car shows and selling patches, emblems, owner’s manuals, and more from the trunk of his car. His commitment to quality and customer service earned him a loyal following, leading him to leave his day job and start Mid America Enterprises.

We are located on US Route 45, approximately three mile North of the City of Effingham, Illinois. If you are traveling on Interstate 57/70, you can reach Mid America Motorworks by taking Exit 162 (Effingham-Sigel-Route 45 Exit) from Interstates 57 & 70.

From exit 162, regardless of your direction of travel, once you exit the Interstate, turn right onto Route 45 North. Go 1.5 miles North and you'll see us on the right side of the road!
