Relax and enjoy the MY Garage Museum and Retail Store while your upgrades are made, or on more involved projects, use our loaner vehicle, which is available on a first come first served basis. We can also provide assistance with booking local hotels at our corporate discount rate if you plan to stay here in Effingham, IL for a few days.

While under our care, your Corvette will be stored in a secure, temperature-controlled location, giving you peace of mind until you’re ready to take it back home. When your installation is complete, we also offer detailing services to get your Corvette ready to turn heads!

1997-2019 CAGS Skip Shift Bypass

The CAGS system was created by General Motors to ease fuel consumption. It forces you to shift from 1st to 4th gear during slow acceleration. Thankfully, we have designed the 1997-2019 CAGS Skip Shift Bypass to eliminate this nuisance.

This bypass allows you to disconnect the Computer Aided Gear Selection (CAGS) system at the transmission connector. This device will override computer control of the system and return full gear selection choice to you.

This custom-designed weatherpac harness not only protects connectors from dirt and corrosion problems associated with an open-ended harness, but also allows you to easily reconnect the system if necessary, with no modifications.

NOTE: There are two variations of the CAGS harness installed on 1997-2019 Corvettes. One style is an oval shaped connection on the harness and the other is a mushroom shaped connection. This product is compatible with the mushroom shaped connection only. Prior to ordering, unplug your CAGS harness to inspect its connection type to confirm compatibility.
