Running down the center of each plug wire is a solid core, stainless steel wire that has near zero resistance. That means all the voltage goes into producing the biggest, hottest spark your Corvette can get. The "hard core" center is wrapped with an 8mm fiberglass reinforced jacket that withstands temperatures up to 500 degrees F. So you can run these wires close to headers or turbochargers without any loss of performance.
At the business end is a heavy duty silicone boot that resists moisture and gets all the voltage to the plugs. These wires have a special interference protection ring at the coil connection that virtually eliminates radio and other electrical interference problems. The wires are a direct replacement for the OEM plug wires.
