Selective Real Time Dampening, RPO F45, is a highly desirable option on 1996-2002 Corvettes; however, when replacing leaking factory dampening shocks or actuators, you got "shocked" when you discovered that the cost of one factory shock or actuator alone could fund replacing all four shocks with the best aftermarket units available! Simply unplugging the actuators will activate the MIL light and limit your Corvette's top speed to 80 mph.
Our 1996,1997-2002 Corvette F45 Suspension Simulator Kit disables the DTC codes set from the real time dampening system. Disabling the DTC codes allows for the addition of aftermarket non-controlled shock absorbers. Using this kit will restore the factory setting to the ESC module and prevent the MIL light from illuminating (when the MIL light is on and the code is set, the car will not be able to exceed 80 MPH).
This kit consists of four shock plug-ins and four position sensor plug-ins. Each plug-in module must be inserted into each connector, found at the location of each wheel.
