1989-1995 C4 CAGS 6-Speed Skip Shift Bypass
One of the most bothersome aspects of a factory 6-speed transmission is the CAGS system that was created by General Motors to ease fuel consumption. It forces you to shift from 1st to 4th gear during slow acceleration. Thankfully, we have designed the 1989-1995 C4 CAGS 6 Speed Skip Shift Bypass to eliminate this nuisance.
This bypass allows you to disconnect the Computer Aided Gear Selection (CAGS) system at the transmission connector. This device will override computer control of the system and return full gear selection choice to you.
This custom-designed weatherpac harness not only protects connectors from dirt and corrosion problems associated with an open-ended harness, but also allows you to easily reconnect the system if necessary, with no modifications.
