Each rotor features high silicone content iron castings for additional mass and heat absorption. Curved and directional internal vanes maximize air transfer and even cooling across the entire rotor. Aluminum rotor hats feature durable black powder coat finish and reduce weight by 6-10lbs per rotor. The aluminum hats also reduce heat transfer from the brake rotor to wheel bearings and spindles, extending service life and reliability.
Counter rotational slotting and drilling of the rotors alleviates friction loss from pads outgassing and balance issues associated with patterns which run in the conventional direction of rotation.
