Now you can store and retrieve your 1984-1996 Corvette's Targa Top with ease and no danger of speaker or carpet damage. Corvette Targa Top Slider installs with existing screws-no drilling! To store your top, simply place it on the rails and slide it into the storage area. Top locks into place as usual. Also available, discontinued by GM years ago, are reproduction Inserts for your original Brackets.
Purchase our OEM style targa panel hold down bolts as a set of 4, part number 658-162, or you can save $15.00 by purchasing the bolts with a new roof panel wrench, part number 658-163.
Tech Note: For the 1989 model year GM redesigned the Targa Top Storage Brackets and Inserts to prevent Targa Top corners from snapping off in the inserts as experienced with the earlier 1984-1988 version. From 1989 on GM discontinued the earlier 1984-1988 Targa Top Storage Brackets and utilized the later 1989-1996 bracket assemblies as OE Service Parts for the earlier 1984-1988 Corvettes.
