This Corvette Hood Opening Tool was designed by famed Corvette Plant Action Center Technician, Gordon Killebrew, specifically for the 1984-96 Corvette hood. It used to be a major operation to open a late model hood if the cable was broken. Now, all you need to do is open the driver's door, insert this steel rod at the hinge area, twist, and up pops the hood. Comes with instructions. Better to buy one now and be prepared in case of a problem later.
