This relay acts as the sensor to make sure your Corvette's headlight motors shut off when they have reached the maximum rotation in either the up or down position when the headlights are turned on or off. Located on the left hand front side of the fenderwell, in front of the wheel under a black cover next to the vacuum bottle, this relay is essential for proper headlight motor functionality.
There are three headlight door relays: one left side relay (bottom), one right side relay (middle), and this single isolation relay (top). This relay is often overlooked when replacing the two headlight actuator relays. We highly recommend replacing all three at the same time and cleaning the old anti-corrosion compound out of the connectors and replacing it prior to plugging the connectors into the new relays.
