This 1984-1986E Removable Top Roof Panel Front Locator Cone is located at the front corners of the Targa Top. Two are required for your top. Mounting is a simple screw on procedure. Just get locator cone snug, lay top in place so cone slides to correct location then carefully lift top and tighten into place.
