1978-1982 Fuel Return Line TBW Right Hand
Fuel Return Lines deteriorate over time and need to be replaced. From restoration needs to failure over time, replacing your 1978-1982 Corvette TBW RH Fuel Return Lines will assure your Corvette has a correctly operating fuel system.
Beginning in 1968 Corvette a closed fuel system was introduced in certain models. There is no opening to the atmosphere, so you cannot only pump fuel out of the fuel tank and into the fuel system because this would cause negative pressure on the fuel tank. With a return fuel line the fuel pump can provide pressure to the fuel system without changing the pressure in the fuel tank.
TBW fuel lines were original equipment on the Corvette. Tin Bundy Weld is the manufacturing technique used to make the fuel line tubing. This brazing process yields reduced brittleness and improved resistance to corrosion.
