The Black Ice Coating is a special two part epoxy paint. It is applied in a spray and adheres to the aluminum and will not ever flake or peel off. NOTE: Our Direct Fit Aluminum Radiators are designed to improve cooling capacity over the original equipment aluminum or brass/copper units and fit properly within the various core supports without modification.  Always confirm the size (core width) of your existing radiator as we see many Corvettes with non-original core support/radiator combinations or engine swaps that lead to incorrect replacement radiator selection.  The radiator is but one of many components in the cooling system and its efficiency is often compromised by the lack of proper hood, core and radiator seals, incorrect fan or shroud combination, fan clutch/ thermostat and circulation issues, or even ignition timing.  If you have questions, please feel free to contact us.
