1966-1968 Aluminum Radiator Big Block and 1968 Small Block Speed Black Ice
This unit is correct for 1966-1968 427 with Manual Transmission as well as the 1968 327 w/Manual Transmission AND Air Conditioning. 22.5" Core.
Our high performance two row aluminum radiator is a Direct Fit for all 1966-1968 big block Corvettes with Manual Transmission. This unit also fits 1968 small block engines that were originally equipped with Manual Transmission and Air Conditioning. This radiator will provide 25% more cooling than the stock four row brass/copper radiator. It features the same size and configuration inlet and outlet, factory type channels, and press formed end tanks.
The Black Ice Coating is a special two part epoxy paint. It is applied in a spray and adheres to the aluminum and will not ever flake or peel off. It is s semi-gloss finish that will give the radiator the look of an original copper/brass unit. The total thickness of the dried product is on .002" thick and it will not affect the cooling performance whatsoever.

NOTE: Our Direct Fit Aluminum Radiators are designed to improve cooling capacity over the original equipment aluminum or brass/copper units and fit properly within the various core supports without modification. Always confirm the size (core width) of your existing radiator as we see many Corvettes with non-original core support/radiator combinations or engine swaps that lead to incorrect replacement radiator selection. The radiator is but one of many components in the cooling system and its efficiency is often compromised by the lack of proper hood, core and radiator seals, incorrect fan or shroud combination, fan clutch/ thermostat and circulation issues, or even ignition timing.
