1965-1967 Tachometer 5500 RPM Assembly - Electronic
If you have updated your distributor to a non-tach drive or have installed an LS Engine in your 1965-1967 Corvette, this electronic tachometer is your answer to accurate engine RPM's.
1965-1967 Electronic 5500 RPM Tachometer Assembly. This electronic tachometer assembly uses the same case as our reproduction of the original mechanical tachometers. The internals have been fitted with an electronic module that uses the same RPM indicator pointer.
Visually, these electronic units look the same as the original mechanical tachometer with the exception for the wiring in the rear. Not only is the appearance the same as the originals, the installation in the existing mounting plates is also like your original installation.
They are compatible with LS Engines by changing the DIP Switch on the back of the unit.
Each unit, when assembled, is calibrated using a digital square wave generator. A re-calibration might be necessary upon installation unless installed by an expert instrument installer.
Applies to all manual and automatic transmissions.
