For individuals completing an accurate restoration, this posed a large problem as rebuilt units are unavailable with the correct finish. Our brand new 1963-1979 Corvette Half Shafts have all the correct features for an accurate restoration. With bare cast ends welded to raw turned steel tubes, our new C3 Corvette Half Shafts will impress even the most discriminating judges. Each unit also includes both inner and outer U-Joints installed along with a new outer U-Joint Flange. Half Shafts are available in 3" diameters, so be sure to specify your vehicle's year in the comment box when completing your order.

Tech Tip: To check your U-Joints, park your vehicle on a flat and level surface. Put the vehicle in Neutral and set the parking brake. From under the car, rotate drive shaft or half shaft while watching U-Joints for excessive play. Also any time red "dust" is apparent on the U-Joint they need replaced. The red dust is powdered rust.
Tech Tip: When inspecting your Corvette's Half Shafts look for any dents in the shafts and gouges or cracks in any portion of the shafts, flanges or welds. Evidence of any of these signs warrant replacement.
