Tech Tip: To check your U-Joints, park your vehicle on a flat and level surface. Put the vehicle on jack stands or a lift, place in Neutral, and from under the car, rotate drive shaft or half shaft while watching U-Joints for excessive play. Also any time red "dust" is apparent on the U-Joint they need replaced. The red dust is powdered rust. Tech Tip: When inspecting your Corvette's Half Shafts look for any dents in the shafts and gouges or cracks in any portion of the shafts, flanges or welds. Evidence of any of these signs warrant replacement.
