1962-1982 C1-C3 Speedo Tach Cable Core Universal Cut to Fit 83 Inch

This universal cut-to-fit cable core kit is a low-cost way to repair a broken or kinked speedometer or tachometer cable, trimmed to length and finished with the included staking tool.

This Corvette speedometer and tachometer cable core kit is a lower-cost alternative to full cable replacement when the inner cable core has broken or kinked. Each kit includes 0.130" diameter SAE-standard multi-coiled wire cable with a squared end, a universal metal tip, and a spacer washer.

You simply cut the cable core to the length you need and attach the tip with the included staking tool. With a maximum overall length of 83", it covers Corvette speedometer and tachometer applications across the years and fits many custom applications as well, making it a versatile, economical repair.

Because Details Matter: A bouncing or dead speedometer usually comes down to a broken inner cable core, not the whole assembly, and replacing just the core is the smart, economical fix.
