My C3 (1968-1976) did not come from the factory with air - will this system work?
This conversion system work with original AC equipped Corvettes and with original heat only Corvettes. This specific Perfect Fit Elite system allows you to retrofit an original, standard, heat-only 1968-1976 Corvette to full air-conditioning. Engineered specifically to use your original heater controls and dash louvers while providing you with powerful air conditioning, heat on the floor, and dehumidified defrost. The air conditioning and defrost connect to the original heater-defrost diffusers.
Can I install this system easily by myself?

The Perfect Fit Elite Corvette air conditioning system is engineered to actually fit a your Corvette correctly. It comes equipped with carefully sized, large, separate A/C and Heat coils just like factory (OE) systems, not combined A/C/Heat coils often found on aftermarket systems. The separate coils improve the cooling and heating capacity of the total system.

What about after installation serviceability?:
All C3 Corvette Perfect Fit Systems evaporators are assembled using spring metal retainers, and are screwed together to enable you to service the entire system (if the need ever arises). Beware of glued together units that are expensive to replace.
Are the Coils adequately sized to cool my Corvette correctly?
All systems coils are engineered with carefully sized, large separate A/C and Heat coils just like factory (OE) systems. The separate coils improve the cooling and heating capacity of the total system.
Will the fan blow enough cool air?
State of the art SPAL High Output OEM style blower fan assemblies with internal heat sink speed controllers for thermal protection. Excellent air volume with less electrical amperage. This is very important when installing on older vehicles where the electrical systems are not upgraded to modern standards.
