Thanks to Kevin Kasparski for the tips.
- There is a button above the license plate on the right side that will open your trunk as long as the FOB is in your pocket.
- There are two release cables in the trunk on the left side, one is for the gas door, the other is for the driver's door.
- There is a key in your FOB. It works a lock located above the license plate to access your trunk in the event of a dead battery. (early C6 have a separate key, not part of key fob)
- There are manual releases on both sides of the front seats to open your doors if the battery fails. For coupes, as a last resort unlatch the roof panel.
- If your FOB battery dies, you can still start the car by docking the FOB in the cradle on the left side of the glove box.
2005 Corvette Coupe
- If your wipers are on for more than 10 seconds, the car will turn the lights on for you!
- You need to hit the unlock button to use the door release button if the car is still running.
- Watch the dimmer button on the left side of the dash, people bump it getting out which will turn on the interior lights.
- If you push the turn signal once and they will flash 3 times.
- If you stomp down on the gas pedal you leave the other cars way behind.
2011 Corvette Convertible
- If the divider between the trunk area and the top storage (Convertibles only) isn't properly snapped into place, you can't put the top up or down.
- If you want to turn all the interior lights on or off, just push the dimmer switch on the lower dash in front of your left knee.
- If you want to turn on or off one of the map lights, the buttons are located on the underside of your rearview mirror.
- Always keep your battery charged with a trickle charger if not driving too much...screws up the electronics if you lose your charge.
