This set of 24 screws will mount both sides of your Air Cooled VW Ragtop Sunroof Rails to the roof of your Beetle. These screws are often rusted or even missing due to the years of moisture laying in the sunroof rails. The original sunroof rails were aluminum and these screws sometimes bonded to the rail making removal difficult. We recommend during installation, you use some anti-seize compound on the screws to make future removal much easier.
It is recommended to inspect all of the rollers on your sliding top during this install. They can sometimes be freed up with some lithium grease and penetrating fluid. We offer a new roller repair kit that is often used during ragtop sunroof replacement.
There are 12 screws needed per side to properly mount your sunroof rails.
