1956-1979 Oil Temperature Sending Unit 300 Degree 1/8-27 NPT - OEM Number(s) (049-919-501)

Our brass Temperature Sending Unit replaces VW# 049 919 501. The fitting has a 1/8"-27 NPT threaded end and has a nail head style connection for a 1/4" female terminal electrical connector. The temperature sender signal triggers the gauge range to read from 0 to a maximum of 300 degrees Fahrenheit. The threads on the sending unit are tapered so thread sealant is not required or recommended as it will insulate and impair the unit's ability to provide a proper signal to your gauge.
