Off Road Master Cylinder with Billet Reservoir

Brake through with our new Volkswagen Master Cylinder with Billet Aluminum Reservoir! Billet reservoir is designed to fit directly into the original style early Type 2 Bus master cylinder which accepts the threaded plastic style reservoir. Machined aluminum reservoir will not fatigue like the original plastic reservoir causing the brake fluid to leak out. It will also work with full bodied beetles or buggies where the old style reservoirs would interfere with the body. Billet reservoir is topped off with a black anodized billet aluminum cap which has been fitted with a leak proof o-ring seal for flawless operation. System may be purchased complete with master cylinder or as the brake fluid reservoir only. Great for your Air-Cooled powered Off Road Buggy or Sandrail application!

Tech Note: This all Aluminum Master Cylinder incorporates the 1950-1966 four port design which allows you to send one port for the rear to be split to LH and RH, one port for LH front, one port for RH front, and one port for the brake light switch. This self contained design is the easiest to adapt to your VW Dune Buggy or other Air Cooled VW project.  We recommend that you replace your brake light switch as old / worn switched may leak and cause you grief while bleeding the system as well as down the road. A fresh toothpick used to dab brake fluid into a new brake light switch prior to installation and fully adjusted brakes can save you much time trying to bleed the system.
