This seal slips into the metal crimp channel of the body of your Beetle. The crimp holds the seal in place along with the 6 clips, three in each lower corner. Clips not included.
Early Super Beetles, 1971-1972 do not use this seal. they use the same seal as a Standard Beetle.
Note: We advise you replace the 6 nylon clips, that attach this seal, as they are usually missing or broke. The clips are not included with the seal.
