1971-1972 Beetle Floor Pan Half LH 22 Gauge - OEM Number(s) (111-701-061-N)

Our 1971-1972 LH Reproduction Quality Air Cooled VW Beetle Floor Pans are 22 gauge thick and come with the jack point, rear cross member section and seat track all attached. This saves you time and frustration of getting them in the right spot and grinding to get a good weld. With the jack point already welded on, it will be considered “oversized” by UPS or Fed Ex. Shipping is still reasonable though considering the time you will save on prep work.

  • Fits Standard and Super Beetle
  • Fits Sedan and Convertible
  • Convertible models may need to remove jacking points as yours are included on the reinforcement rails.

You can install a floor pan with the body on or with the body off. Here are a few things we highly recommend to make your floor pan replacement go smoothly.

  • Bug Me Video: Floor Pan Replacement
  • Sheet Metal Panel Flanging Tool
  • Spot Weld Removing Drill Bit
  • Floor Pan to Body Seal (3 to select from)
  • Floor Pan Installation Kit

Installation note: If you have never done this type of job before, you are almost guaranteed that you will need all of the items in the "Parts You Will Need" tab. So many times, the bolts holding the floor pan to the heater channel will break off when you go to remove them. Also, original floor pans are welded about every ½” to ¾” so there are a lot of spot welds to remove and you will need to be very careful when removing the spot welds on the left hand driver side as the main brake line is tucked up against the tunnel just above the factory spot welds. It is not uncommon to need to replace this brake line during floor pan installation. You will also want to make sure you inspect the quality of your accelerator/clutch/brake assembly. So many times when these are removed, the original magnesium material is rotted out just enough to barely hold the accelerator pedal in. Upon removal it will sometimes crumble and break.
