1956-1979 Compufire Electronic Ignition System Distributor-Less 12 Volt
The Compufire D.I.S. Ignition System fires directly to the plugs. This Ignition System eliminates points, cap, and condensors. Totally water and dirt proof. Fires alternate cylinders simultaneously for cleaner and more efficient fuel burn.
This Compufire D.I.S. Ignition System includes all electronics, custom ultra high energy coil pack, silicone spark plug wires, and all wiring, connectors and mounting hardware. Simple bolt-on hardware makes installation a breeze. Fits all Beetle, Super Beetle, Ghias and Bus with 12v systems & centrifugal advance distributors. Your choice of Yellow or Blue ignition wires.
If you are using a tachometer in your VW then you need our Tachometer Adapter in order to run your tach with our distributor-less ignition. (301-146) Adapter sold seperately.
