This pad is manufactured using a "Rubberized Horsehair" padding material. Rubberized Horsehair is a term applied to a material that is composed of sterilized curled hair, where each hair is injected with a synthetic rubber latex. This material is a resilient padding, equal to foam rubber and plastic polyurethane. It is non-allergenic and is resistant to mildew.
