1976-1979 Bus Starter 12 Volt High Output
Compu-Fires new permanent magnet gear reduction (PMGR) starter motor for1976-1979l air-cooled Bus applications produces 2kw of starting energy by using modern permanent magnet field technology along with a precision wound high amperage armature. The gear reduction has a lower ratio (6:1) to allow easy starts for all large displacement high compression performance engines. The new starter is assembled in the USA with 100% new components.
Note: These are only for Buses with the later 091 Transmission, Early Bus with 002 Transmission uses 323-090
