This Air Cooled VW Super Beetle Strut Mount fits 1971 to mid year 1973 (Up to Chassis # 133/153 3003 655). The mount contains the upper strut bearing and allows the strut assembly to rotate freely. This is almost a pure necessity if you are replacing your springs or struts on your Super Beetle.
