This is a nice Reproduction Quality 1968-1979 Air Cooled Volkswagen Beetle Chrome Hood Handle. This does not include the locking mechanism or the hood handle to hood seals. Those can be purchased separately.
The front hood latch bolts into the handle from the underside of the hood. The hole in handle allows for a push button to release the latch.
