14 Gauge Steel Construction
When replacing a VW Beetle Frame Head we suggest taking several measurements before you cut the original frame head off of the chassis. Example; take a measurement from the front bolt holes on the chassis tunnel and the rear chassis support panels to the very front of the existing frame head. Do this on both sides of the chassis to make sure you get the frame head on square. Make sure you write the measurements down in case this is an on-going project. You will also want to make sure the new frame head is level and that you make a very strong weld since this is a very important part of the structure of the chassis. These tips will make the VW Frame Head Replacement much easier!
