The Ball Joints on your Air Cooled Volkswagen are prone to wear. When they fail, they often cause poor handling, poor alignment and possibly even a clunking sound.
Replace them with our Reproduction Quality 1966-1977 Lower Ball Joint. The ball joint includes the boot and a lock nut. These are sold individually, and 2 are required per car.
The ball joints press into your torsion arms and connect the torsion arms to the spindles.
It is highly suggested that you change all upper and lower ball joints at the same time. Upper ball joints are sold separately.
