Tech Note: We have noticed several occasions when replacing a mirror where it is necessary to replace the door hinge pin on the 1950-1967 Beetles. The threads are most likely rusted or stripped so double check yours before ordering a new mirror. Sometimes if your mirror just wont stay adjusted it is from a worn out door hinge or hinge pin.
