This 24 piece Dual Relief Air Cooled VW Engine Hardware Kit is a must for installation of any new engine case. A must have when rebuilding your Volkswagen Engine Case also.
Kit includes:
- Oil Pressure Relief Valves
- Oil Pressure Springs
- Oil Pressure Plugs
- Oil Pressure Plug Seals
- Type 3 engine dipstick block off plate, gasket, studs, nuts and washers
Tech Note:
You can easily tell if you have a dual relief case or a single relief case by looking at the bottom of your engine case, there are nickel-sized caps with a flat screw driver slot facing toward the ground. If there is only one, it is single relief case, two is a dual relief case. One plug is located toward the front of the engine near the oil pump and the other is located back by the rear main-flywheel.
