This Air Cooled Volkswagen Oil Pressure Switch operates the oil pressure indicator bulb on the speedometer. The switch has 10 x 1.0mm threaded and operates at roughly 3 PSI. This means that if the oil pressure indicator light is on, your engine has less than 3 PSI of oil pressure at the switch! This oil pressure switch operates on both 6 and 12 volt systems. This switch threads into the crankcase like the original.
