This Air Cooled VW Oil Filler Vent Tube End Cap is required on Volkswagens that do have the down-tube on the Oil Filler.
Used specifically on a 1972 and eliminates the drip on the floor or into your engine compartment. Without this end cap, the oil drip will be sucked into your carburetor and burned in your engine! This drain tube goes down through your engine tin and is located next to your dipstick.
