Oettinger Kraftfahrtechnische Spezial Anstalt, or "Okrasa" better known was a company that was able to turn your Volkswagen Engine into a powerhouse. Originally advertised to do 0-60 in only 12 seconds, this kit will take your simple 25-30 HP Engine and upgrade it to around 48 HP. Similar to the Original Style Linkage kit, this kit here features an updated linkage arrangement. The updated linkage is a simple bolt on apparatus that features NO welding. Even the Ignition Coil does not need to be relocated. This all results in a VW Engine with superior carburetor control with a neat and dressed authentic look. This kit features a Twin Port 30 HP Cylinder Head and Carburetors with an original Linkage. Engineered to original Okrasa standards, the Cylinder Heads are manufactured to OEM quality and maintain the original 7.5:1 compression ratio and reproduction Solex 32PBIC Carburetors. Tech Note: Modification to the Rain Gutters is required on Convertible Models. For the Bus, Karmann Ghia or other Coachbuilt models such as the Hebmuller will require air cleaner elbows.
