Your Air-Cooled 1952-1968 VW Complete LH Heater Channel not only provides a conduit for hot air to pass to the front of the vehicle, it also serves as the primary support or frame for the entire vehicle.
Don't attempt to repair heater channels or any part of your VW's chassis and body damage with inferior plastic and fiberglass fillers. Repairing your Volkswagen's Heater Channels can be very time consuming and challenging, and sometimes there is not enough left to repair.
Unfortunately the precise heater channel for the earlier models is no longer available. These rocker panels have the shape towards the front for the later heater outlet used 1968-1979.
