This 8 piece Alternator / Generator Pulley Shim Set will allow you to install and adjust the Pulley to perfection in your Air Cooled Volkswagen. These Shims fit in between the pulley allowing you to adjust the width, the more shims make the belt looser. Getting the right belt tension is critical as it is tied in with the cooling fan inside of the cooling tin. Place the remaining Shims between the nut and pulley for future use.
