1946-1970 Early Style Clutch Release Bearing with Heavy Duty Clips - OEM Number(s) (111-141-165-A)
Always replace the throw-out bearing when changing clutches. And as always, you will have to break the clutch down to see which style you have. This release bearing comes with both standard duty and heavy duty retaining clips.
If your pressure plate has a round pad on the fingers the size of the release bearing pressure point you need this release bearing. If there is no pad on the pressure plate you need 334375 for the OEM version or 300711 for the Reproduction version. (These are the same but different manufacturers)
Worn Air Cooled VW clutches never get better or stay the same, they always get worse. If your clutch is worn, slipping, or hard to operate, get the parts you need to fix it today.
