Air-Cooled Volkswagens and most any other vintage vehicles often require some level of fitting, grinding, or filling to ensure that new parts align properly with older and/or potentially modified cars. This process is normal and shouldn't be viewed as a reason to return a part. If there are more concerns or questions about the quality of a received body panel prior to modification, contact us directly.
Please note: Any parts that have been modified or painted, by you or a body shop, are not eligible for return. It's essential to communicate this policy to your body shop or paint shop if you're employing their services.
The replacement VW sheet metal body panels we offer are high-quality replacement parts sourced from reputable companies worldwide. These parts undergo a journey from production to delivery, involving ships, trains, trucks, and local carriers. As a result, scratches in the rust preventative paint (which is not considered primer) and minor dings may occur during transit. This means that minor repairs and corrections may need to be made prior to installing a new panel on your car. This is a normal expectation.
