Over time, worn bushings allow the clutch cross shaft to wobble, putting extra stress on the throw out bearing and potentially leading to bigger problems down the road. Weak or overstretched springs can also interfere with proper clutch operation. This repair kit replaces those tired components on your 16mm swing axle clutch cross shaft, helping restore proper shaft alignment, smooth movement, and reliable spring tension.

Fits 1961-1970 Standard Beetles

Fits 1961-1970 Karmann Ghias

Designed for 16mm swing axle clutch cross shafts

Replaces worn cross shaft bushings and springs

Helps eliminate excessive clutch cross shaft wobble

Reduces unnecessary wear on the clutch throw out bearing

Restores proper clutch cross shaft support and spring tension
