A longtime favorite among Volkswagen enthusiasts, this classic design combines show-quality chrome, a distinctive louvered dome, and a compact profile that looks right at home on everything from a stock Beetle to a custom Dune Buggy. It's a great alternative to a bulky factory oil bath air cleaner, freeing up valuable engine compartment space while giving your carburetor the clean, filtered airflow it needs. Inside, a washable, replaceable foam filter is reinforced with a steel mesh support cage to help maintain its shape under engine vacuum. The 5-1/2" diameter and 2" height keep things compact without sacrificing everyday practicality, while the clamp-on design makes installation straightforward on compatible carburetors with a 2-1/16" mounting neck.

EMPI Louvered Chrome Air Cleaner, Part #00-8674-0

Classic hot rod-style louvered dome with high-luster chrome finish

Compact 5-1/2" diameter

2" overall height

Washable and replaceable foam air filter for reliable engine air filtration

Internal steel mesh cage supports filter media under engine vacuum

Low-profile design helps improve engine compartment clearance

Fits most stock carburetors with a 2-1/16" (52mm) mounting neck

Compatible with many Solex 28, 30, and 34 PICT carburetors

Clamp-on installation with mounting hardware included
